The settlement of Avtovac, located in the municipality of Gacko (Bosnia and Herzegovina), is approximately 135 km from Sarajevo, 115 km from Mostar, 105 km from Dubrovnik, and 75 km from Trebinje by road. It is situated on the eastern edge of Gacko Field, on the right bank of the Mušnica River, only about 5 kilometers southeast of Gacko.
